Reflective Questions

We can focus on ourselves when we have more time. This is one of the many reasons we are depleted. We can't pour from an empty cup. Focusing on our Mind, Body and Soul has to be a part of our daily life. Each piece is important and needs attention, time and love. Balance is ideal but not always realistic. Learning what that looks like for yourself, maintaining it and thriving in this life is what we work toward at Shepherd Holistic. Daily affirmations are most effective when done first thing in the morning. While looking in the mirror say your affirmations out loud to yourself.
Note any emotion that follows speaking these out loud. You may feel happy, sad or not believe what you are saying is true about yourself. Sit with those feelings and give yourself grace while beginning to understand why you may feel that way, then allow yourself to hear and feel the truth in the affirmations.
